- Borregaard/ Exilva® MFC is used as a thixotropic agent, which is effective in anti-settling, preventing cracking, increasing single-coat film thickness, increasing strength, and water and gas barrier properties for specific resins (eg: PVOH).
- Long fiber interwoven network structure with a large amount of OH functional groups. It can be opened with a specified shear force and added to the coating, and then exert its high performance.
- It is recommended to use it together with associative thickeners (such as HEUR, HASE), so that associative thickeners can control the performance of high viscosity, while MFC can control the performance of low viscosity. The overall performance can be achieved the balance in terms of function, gloss and color.
